As a family-run company with a strong sense of tradition, the topic of sustainability is one that we very much take to heart. For that reason it is simply a matter of course for us that we continuously tackle ecological and economic questions.

We ensure that we meet this weighty responsibility by having our company audited with regard to energy consumption, purchasing, the management of waste and refuse, and mobility, and have developed our won customized concepts for sustainability. The results of this process can be seen at a glance: More than ever, we place great value on regional products and ones which have been grown purely organically if at all possible. We prefer to make use of goods from "fair trade" suppliers and to buy meat from farms that treat animals properly. Of course, we make sure that our waste and refuse is disposed of in a way that is suitable for the environment.

Thanks to our continuous work and our transparent way of doing things, the Tourismus & Congress GmbH Region Bonn/Rhein-Sieg/Ahrweiler has designated us as a sustainable operation within the framework of the "Sustainable Bonn – A conference location for sustainability" project. In addition to that, the Gesellschaft für Ressourcenschutz mbH (GfRS) awarded us the "Bio-Zertifikat" (Bio-certificate) for our entire out-of-house event-related business. We regard these awards as an incentive to continue in the same vein with our responsible way of doing things in the sense of how it affects our customers and future generations.
